This initial introductory phase will run through August 31. Throughout the month of August, we will monitor community conditions before determining next steps and will share updates as we progress. More infoTo our families Kamehameha Schools Kapālama has announced that our school will remain in our hybrid learning model and continue to use distance learning as the primary learning mode for most of our haumāna. Small groups of students will be invited on to campus for face-to-face instruction and other activities during the 2nd quarter. These groups will be identified and contacted by the po‘o kumu and their administrative teams. During this time, campus will be accessible only to residents, staff, and select, small groups of haumāna who have received special approval from campus administration for in-person instruction and activities as conditions allow. All other entries will be restricted until further notice. The spacious campus has more than 70 buildings, an Olympic-size swimming pool, tennis courts, and a new athletic complex with a football/soccer field, track and seating for 3,000.
